i have a farmer who is a master farmer and i keep dropping him in the lagoon in the upper left but nothing ever happens. he is supposed to learn fishing?? whats up?? also. all the women i get pregnant. i try dropping them in the lagoon but again no golden child???

The villagers don't learn fishing in the lagoon - they will automatically fish in the ocean once you have Level 3 of Farming Tech.

I'm not sure what guide you used, but the one in our Guides Section gives you the exact solution, including any required Village Tech (which is what you're probably missing).
