We're visiting our son and his family for a while. Both kids (boys 6 & 10) are like their parents, computer nuts, and really good at computer games... as a rule.

However, VV2 is apparently still too advanced for the 6-yr-old. His mom suggested he download the demo of VV2 and try out the game, then she noticed an icon for the game already on his desktop, and pointed it out to him. He clicked on it, then exclaimed, "I don like dis! I aweady pwayed dis, an' all I got is widdow DEAD poepow! SEE?!" (I don't like this! I already played this, and all I got is little DEAD people! SEE?!)

I died laughing as I looked at the screen and counted 7 little skeletons lying in the middle of the village. \:D

No, VV2 isn't a good game for 6-yr-olds, it seems. \:D

I don't think the problem is that it's too advanced, I think it just calls for ALOT of patience and constant attention, which little fellers usually lack at that age...

I had my little nephew dying to play this game after he saw me playing and constantly talking about it during dinner time... a self-proclaimed game genius he is, I let him play it, though he did know what to do and all, I guess his attention span was a little short \:\) he took care of them for a while then would wander around just waiting for the game to play along...

Half a day goes by without him going back to the game, and then when he thought he had given them enough time to fix the dam, he goes back to dead villagers... fire gone, no food... I laughed at him too, but more in a "thought you were smart enough to play this game, did you?" manner \:\)
