It's not exactly a sim game, nor a puzzle game. It's a hybrid, it's unique, that's why we like it.
We all also like it, because the game doesn't satisfy our apetite imediatly and entirely. The game is slow paced, and so, causing a huge amount of anticipation.
People here suggesting ideas that might shake the balance between puzzle and sim. No, actually, some of the ideas here, will absolutely change the game's general charm, and (blessed) simplicity. The things that makes it feel unique.
I got to play most of the big sim games. Implementing more details (most of them are needless, fair to say), will result in the game being tedious (also because there's no way they're going to enlarge the map). Have you noticed that 90% of things that can happen, happen for a reason? there's a use for that incident, there's a goal to achieve...?
Also, the only way they're going to change the map's size, is if they find another way to navigate easily and swiftly. That's a little hard to accomplish, without making it a little bit complicated for people who dont usually play games.
Anyway, before this turning into another wall of text, believe me, the game will remain straight forward and honest. Oh, and map-size won't change.
