Hi everyone! I've read this forum a lot but this is my first time posting! I love this game! I've finished all the puzzles so now I'm just playing around and some questions have come up.

1. Is there anything specific to be accomplished once the puzzles are done,or is it just making more elders and finding collectibles and stews? Is there an actual end to the game ever?

2. Is there a significance with the different colors of master totems, or is that just luck of the draw?

3. Is there a way to make collectables appear? I've logged many hours playing and I keep seeing the same ones over and over again with rarely any new ones! I have barely over half of them at this point.

4. Is there supposed to be a school somewhere on this one??? I've seen it mentioned on other posts. I know there was a school in VV1 but in 2?

Once you have completed all puzzles the only thing you can do really is collect all collectibles and make all stews and reach maximum population. Also if you haven't got all your 50 esteemed elders just try and work for them. This will make sure you have something to do!!!

With the totems i only have 3 esteemed elders which 2 totems are exactly the same and the other is different. So by the look of it, it is just random

oh yea also the island events never stop. So if you have only had a few island events you have more to look forward to.

No. Finish collections, make elders, get on leaderboard, that's pretty much it.

Seems random, but someone smart may come along and tell us it is based on a modulo 8 of some villager parameter (such as a sum of skills) when the totem was earned.

Borg is right -- there isn't a school building. But your villagers can "tell stories" and "teach" the kids -- drop an adult on a kid and you'll see (the ones with enough parenting skill will teach and gain more skill; the others will just tell stories).

And you'll find the kids kinda gather near the fire, sorta like going to school when you banged the drum in VV1 (not quite - many of them ignore it ). Their action lines will tell you what they are up to (attending lessons, listening to a story, etc.)

Thanks everyone! Another question i've come across....is it possible to get more than 50 elders? I thought it wasn't, but now that I have my 50, according to the internet rankings i'm 50th. So somehow 49 ppl have more than 50 elders. How do you do that?

You don't actually "do" it; you can get an event which may give you an extra elder or two
