I just had an island event that I had heard about from other posts. So every new game I start I name one villager by the name of Biggles. Well I am sure you know just what Island event I am talking about.
Well I answered the opposite the last time I had seen this event. But it was the wrong answer. So the one answer that I gave with the name Biggles I went ahead and allowed but it was still the same wrong answer. How could that be when There was such a person?
Does that mean that there are only 2 answers to the event and that you can't add a third answer? Because I thought for sure I would have gotten something for the event other than what I did.
I am trying to not make this understandable because I don't want to spoil anything for anyone else.

The Biggles event is essentially just a fun event

I guess what you have proven is that your Biggles is not the same Biggles as the event's Biggles. That is a different Biggles entirely. Just like more than one person can be named John, but that does not make all people named John the the same person.

It was worth trying though. I guess there was a slim chance Arthur might have written code to run through the villager array and check for a villager named Biggles during the event. The only way to know for certain if this were the case would be to ask the programmer (they won't talk) or do your experiment. For this reason, I believe your experiment was worthwhile.

Just think of Biggles as Walt's wonderfully weird and wacky whimsy

Well,The good thing about it is. You never know til you try it.Simply because a few events are teases and a few take common sense. Biggles was my tease. But that is what makes this game so fun. There isn't an end really to this game. Every time you play. There is always something new to try.
