I should have known better...

I started a new game and it was going quite well. I had an event that gave me 700 food so I switched my farmer to help in building the dam. Then I went to bed forgetting to switch him back. When I checked the game this morning food was at zero and only two villagers were left alive. As I watched, horrified, another died.

My villagers had finished the dam, the new hut, and repairs to the love shack. The crops had grown. They'd accumulated enough tech points for both L2 Exploration and Farming. I put my remaining villager to harvesting a few baskets of crops, then had her make a restorative stew, so she's now quite healthy. She'll have to hope for an event if she's to have any company, however.

alone in the island? Yeah that's quite macabre... do you know if there is an event that will bring another villager to the island?? (guess it's a spoiler question but i don't mind knowing just this one...:D)

Yes, there are at least three events that will bring a minimum of one other islander. I just have to hope for one of them ...
