I have a game that I have been playing since the first day vv2 was released. Finished all of the puzzles and only have 1 more pebble to find. 2 weeks ago, I left the game on normal speed (closed, so it was just running in the background) while I went to work.

Sadly while I was at work that day I had an accident and broke some bones in my foot. Have just been able to return to vv2 and find that instead of the 105 villagers that I had, I am now down to 2, 32 year old females.

Should I just give up and start all over or do you think it is worth waiting to see if I can get the event that drops 2 more villagers down the waterfall? (I haven't had that event yet)

That is up to you.

Never give up, never surrender. There's another event that might help you out, too. Also, do you have the gong completed? It's risky, but it could help you, too.

Just two weeks? I'm waiting 45 days to find last beetle.. Don't give up after just two weeks!

I would probably let the game run its course...either a Miracle occurs or...they die

Certainly the there is still hope, although you need luck. There are at least three events that could bring one or more new male villagers. Also, as Tzigone suggests, the gong might possibly help. Whether it's worth scouring the screen for that last pebble is up to you to decide.

Personally, I'd start another game in another slot, and look in on your original game when you get the chance.
