So, I solved all my puzzles, had the maximum villagers for my found collectables and was doing fine on maintenance just waiting for more of the collections to fill out. But, I had a lot of villagers that were all the same age. As time went on, I couldn't add more children since I was at the maximum. When a bunch of the villagers died of old age and I was finally able to breed again, that left me with no females under 50. I'm now down to 32 villagers and hoping to get an event that will bring in a breedable female. We'll see how it goes!

This killed one of my villages already. I wasn't up to full count, but somehow lost all the men. I left it going, hoping for some event, but 5 women aged out and died. I don't think there is an event that will help you, if all women are over 50 already.

There are one, maybe two, other events that can help, as well. One is a no-option event, and the other gives you a choice what to do.
No option event (highlight to view): Another couple can fall down the waterfall, just as your villagers did at the start of the game. Gives you an adult male and adult female
Optioned event (highlight to view): A Savage Child shows up - scare away or lure with food. If you lure with food, you get a child. For me it was a 13-year-old boy. But I think you can get a girl, too.

I believe there is also a gong event that would help if I used the correct villager to ring the gong. I'm down to 5 now and it isn't looking too good.

We should have a command to vote villagers off the island for whatever reason. Almost no one has died from sickness except when I go to sleep with the setting on 2x speed. They only die from old age and it's a LOOONG wait. We could sent them off on a raft to explore and they never return You could always poison them with a stew if you are feeling heartless enough. There is, in fact, an event that has a group of villagers building a boat and disappearing.
