Do the females on VV2 go through menopause or something? lol

My oldest female is over 50 and just can't seem to get pregnant anymore, even though I've tried repeatedly with several different males. At first I thought I'd hit a population max, but no, the other females can still get pregnant, just never her anymore.

Thanks in advance for any replies. \:\)

Hi, females stop reproducing at the age of 50. I had the same problem and started geeking out because I thought something was wrong with the game, lol. Hope this helps and good luck :).

Thanks, I thought I was doing something wrong, or that she had become really unattractive to the guys. lol Guess that was LDoW's answer to old VV1 females dying while they were nursing an infant.

Take care! \:\)

I like that new rule in VV2 cause I lost a few babies that way in VV1. Was trying to get my population up and ended up getting someones in there 70's pregnant. When she dies the baby went too.

In VV1, I've had a lot of elderly females die while they were nursing too. Once I had 5 die at once. Lost all the babies.

Also, there's something innately not "right" with pregnant 70 year old women - unless they were living to 200... lol

Very true. \:D But wasn't one of the goals of VV1 to see how long you could have your villagers live? It would seem as the time they lived before they became elderly increased so would the age women could reproduce.

As sha says, females stop having babies when they reach the age of 50.
