Me and my friend just got the new Fish Tycoon and we love it. We cant figure out how to beam fish though. We thought we say somewhere that you can put a fish in your isolation tank and then send it, but we cant do it. PLEASE HELP

The beam fish icon is located just above the trash can in the Palm version of Fish Tycoon. The capability to beam fish is available only in the Palm OS version at this time, so if you have the PPC version that would explain the difficulty.

thats what i dont get, i have the new version but i dont see the icon, not even when a fish is in isolation.

Beaming is not available on the Pocket PC version. If you have the Palm version of Fish, you should see the IR icon just above the trash can whether or not there is a fish in the isolation tank (an empty iso tank brings up the 'receive fish' screen).

Look on this screen (about half way down) to see a picture of what it looks like. Post back here if you still need help.

I have tried to find this icon that you are talking about to beam a fish, and it's just not there. I have a Tungsten E Palm, so it should be there right? Can you please help.

It's a yellow small button just on top of the trash can.

If you don't have a game on progress, delete the current version you have on your device and just install version 1.1

what is beaming?

You can send a fish from one Palm's Fish Tycoon game to another Palm's Fish Tycoon game by using a feature built into Fish Tycoon for Palm OS (using the infrared beam feature of the Palm devices). The Pocket PC version of the game does not support this feature.

Can you beam trophy fish?

Beaming only works in v1.1 of Fish Tycoon for Palm (not v1.0) and is not supported in either the Windows or Pocket PC version of Fish Tycoon. If both the sending and receiving device are running v1.1 of the Palm version, you can beam any fish that you have in one of your tanks (including Magic Fish) to another Palm device. Keep in mind that if the receiving Palm device's Fish Environment is not sufficient to support the fish that you beam to it, that fish might be in big trouble!

Trophy fish are only pictures.

But you can beam the "real" fish that the trophy fish represent.
