I've had mating problems too I'll pick a pair and they'll keep running away from each other. I'll just keep grabbing the one that's running away and putting them on top of each other and eventually they go indoors. It's a love hate thing between some of them sometimes
These particular villagers are really persnickety.... there is only one that will breed and she will only do it when the PDA is turned off. Guess she wants more privacy than I'm willing to give her. I've had them all turned to breeding as thier "job" and only one will nurse a baby. I swear the guys on my island are gay!

HAHAH lol!! After I get them breeding I usually wind up with like, 3 woman with babies the next time I turn off the game for a while. I come back and SOMEONE got happy quite a bit!
