If I read your posts correctly you are leaving the game running open on your computer, rather than closing it then reopening it when you return. Are you absolutely certain no-one can get at your computer while you are not there, even a pet? ISTR someone posted here a while back about a pet puppy messing up their game!

Also, why do you leave it open, rather than close it?

Would I be right in inferring that that means you have several other people in the house? Any chance that someone could be playing a prank on you by starting over your village while you're away?

And just to throw in my two cents -- is it possible there's an app on your computer that's changing the system time while you are away? (Perhaps syncing to a bad network time server, or updating the clock frequently?) I'm wondering if changing the time (even by a little bit) while the game is open could cause some of these problems.

There are no pets in my house, I dont know why I leave it open, I just do, theres nobody here to mess with it, I have two infants and a guinea pig and two turtles The guinea pig is still in his cage when I get home, with it still closed and I dont think the turtles can get out of their tank, and I really dont think they can climb up to my desk or my dresser where I leave my laptop running. I have a desktop and laptop in my bedroom, a computer in the other bedroom and a computer in the living room. Nobody uses the one in the living room, my son uses the one in the other bedroom as a stereo, only for music. Since my son works in the same office as me, I dont think hes doing anything, and the babies are 6 months and 3 weeks old, I dont think either of them are doing anything, especially since last time it happened when they werent home either.

I dont know what would change the time and then change it back, nothing that i know of.
