I'm kind of interested in getting into Fish Tycoon, it seems like a pretty cool idea for a game that's a very ongoing thing without having to devote a million hours a week to it. The problem is that I'm also pretty impatient, so I'd like to leave it on while I'm off. Thus, my question is, if I set the speed on slow while I'm away, how often would I have to get back on to feed the fishies? Thanks.

A lot depends on the level of food research that you have. You should check in on them once or twice a day until you are familiar with the game and how often the fish need to be fed.
