Sometimes when I have a kid pick up a collectable,(like the shells, butterflies & etc...) they don't pick it up. This only happens once in a while & it always seems to be on a collectable that I don't already have. I keep trying to have them pick it up & even try a differant kid but they just won't pick it up. Anyone else have this problem?

It only happens in my game when the "Appearance Time" for the Collectible has expired.

I've only had problems with Gems in the "Ancient Place" and I've been told that the Experts will be sorting out the problem.

that is what happens to me too. I get so excited put a kid on the collectible....and what do you know it was "timed out"

I know, that is so annoying. I've had that happen many times (always with the rare items it seems).

My idea of "appearance time" was about the collectibles appearing and dissapearing. They don't just appear and stay put until they're collected. it dissapaears eventually. I hope this helps...

Well, talking about Unpickable collectibles....I've just started a new village, both kids couldn't pick up a mushroom!! It appeared right before my eyes and both the kids cldn't pick it up!!

This is the first time it's happened to me now... and my villagers were desperate for food!!

That's because the rare collectibles appear for a much shorter timespan than the others. If you don't spot them right away and find a kid at once, they disappear before you can act.

Try placing the kids just above the collectible or mushroom rather than plum on it. If you experiment, you'll prob find you can put them a centimetre or even more away and they'll pick it up nicely.
