Does anyone know what the tinkling sound is periodcally that is heard in VV2?

Absolutely no idea... can't be wind chimes, I wouldn't think, cos the sound comes from the wooded area. Just enjoy them \:\)

The tinkling sound has become Pavlovian for me, at least. That's when I grab one of the kids and tote him around the island. More often than not, there is a mushroom or treasure to find. Seemed that way to me in VV1, too.

I do the same thing, when i hear the chimes within a minute oer so you can spot a collectable or mushroom. It gives a longer chime if you dont look & find it straight away i have found too. Good reason to have your sounds on. I mute the music though...

Yes...people have said that the sound means nothing but it does...I always find something when I hear it.
