Love the game -- have all the puzzles solved (thanks to all the game gurus who provide guidance!) and am now working with my second tribe.

I seem to be experiencing a curiosity. I have consistently run the game at 2X speed, but as the game has progressed my people move much more slowly. This applies to all the people, not just the 'elderly' folks. Even the kids playing tag seem...to...move...in...slow...motion.

This happened with my first tribe, too, but I attributed it to overpopulation. Now I'm thinking I've maybe got a system issue. I'm running a Mac (PowerPC G4) with OSX 10.4.8. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the speed back to normal?

Thanks.

Depending upon your processor speed and the amount of installed memory, the game can slow down as population increases. I see that phenomenon on my older G4 PowerPC Mac, but not my newer PowerBook and MacBook Pro.
