You should be able to do what you want with no problems, as long as you back up your savegame files first, in case something goes wrong and you want to continue playing the same tribe. \:\)

thanks ladycfii, i went ahead and did but a strange thing happened. i didnt save anything cause i didnt mind starting over and so i uninstalled it. i went to my internet tools option and deleted files. i then reinstalled it and all my original games are still there! how did that happen? i get a bit confused when it comes to this computer stuff but i thought uninstalling the game would remove everything. is there something else i should do to completely remove everything? it also didnt fix my problem i was having with my dead villagers.

The way to uninstall Virtual Villagers is to use the game's uninstall program, which can be found by clicking Start, then Virtual Villagers, then Uninstall. Uninstalling programs often leaves "user data" intact, however, and only deletes the actual program files. In order to completely remove the game and the savegame files, you should delete the Virtual Villagers folder from the Program Files folder on your hard drive. It's possible that the crash is being caused by a corrupted savegame file.
