i am have trouble keeping food in the bin!! i have all 3 levels of farming and they still will only water the crops! with level 3 shouldn't it get easier? is there another food source besides fish, coconuts and crops? i'm on easy and still having trouble. vv1 wasn't this hard to keep food in supply. is there any way to get them to fish instead of water crops? thanks in advance

If you have kids on VV, you can drop them on mushies that appear around the island. But, you can keep plopping in a lot of villagers and they will fish with any luck. The more times you throw em' in and the more times they are succesfull, makes them likely to keep on fishing. I think.

If you haven't gotten rid of the algea yet then what you need to do is take some master farmers and researchers to the pond. They will fish out some special fish and put them in the ocean. After several trips you will be able to fish again. That should solve your problem. IF you have taken care of that I would just make a lot more people farmers. Maybe take the people about to start working.

It's really not a good thing to put spoilers in a thread without clearly marking them. There are people here who want to work out the solutions themselves.

As Doc80 said, you may just need to get rid of the algae. If you have, check your villagers dislikes. Maybe the stubborn ones dislike water, or fish.
