When you take screen shots where are they saved on your computer? I tried to take one but I have no clue where to look for it.

When you use Print Screen on a Windows PC, it's copied to your Windows clipboard and isn't saved anywhere until you paste it into an image editing program, such as Paint. \:\)

It's not like normal programs; you can't access it in the usual way. It holds the item that you've copied to it ready for pasting into another application. Open your graphics application like Paint then use the menu Edit > Paste or the shortcut keys CTRL+V or SHIFT+INSERT to paste the picture in. You can then edit it if you want and save it as a JPG.

The Windows clipboard is a temporary area that Windows uses to temporarily store whatever was last copied or cut (either by using Ctrl-C or X, or Edit/Copy or Cut, or the print screen function). Some versions of Windows have an optional Clipboard Viewer accessory that you can install, but the easiest way to see what is in the clipboard is to use the Paste function to paste the contents into an application (such as Notepad or Paint, depending upon if the clipboard contains text or images).
