Hey everybody, I'm looking for some help. I'm trying to finish that challenge that requires 3 master builders (trying not to spoil here), and I have 4 people who are at adept builder level, maybe 1 or two increments away from master level.

I have been exercising (3Xred stew) and fixing huts with them for about 10 years of game time, and they have not increased their skill level at all (despite seeing "this villager has improved at construction" probably 500 times.)

What's the deal? They are all getting quite old now, and I don't want them to die before I can get them to master level.

I am assuming you haven't upgraded certain Levels of Technology...

Rest assured, there will be plenty of other things to build/do to increase your "adept Builders'" Skills

Increasing your population will also allow your villagers to build more huts.

I have trained builders to Masters through Fixing Huts but it does take a little while I must admit. But I also noticed that some villagers build up skills quicker than some.

I have bought all technologies and completed all tasks except that one gong piece. I even had one of the adept builders singlehandedly uncover the sacred area and his skill never increased even one tick.

Hmm... In that case I thing you'll just have to be patient with Fixing Huts and making "that" Stew and running the game at 2x.

I'm sorry for not being of any help. Maybe the other gamers can give you some suggestions.

I made the mistake early on, my first tribe, that had too many builders building my huts.... in my haste I didn't allow my builders to develope early on, therefore making not enough work to go around later.....I since learned let builders build and keep everyone else away from my huts and vines.
