I saw lots of posts concerning their farmers only searching for coconuts or watering the field. So I expected my farmers do that too, but they tend to go coconuts first, fish second, crop third. Coconut source is always low, so first choice makes no difference whatsoever. But I prefer my field picked it clean ASAP, so their tendency to go for the crop last makes me micromanage a lot each time the field regenerates. I wonder what makes them choose which part of the source to go first? Is it affected by current food stockpile size, maybe?

People who have trouble with farmers, usually they havent gotten level 3 farming yet, once you have that they will go for fishing first and if theres any coconuts to pick then that, and then the garden, but no worries, its not like real life, the crops wont go bad, and when the recycle timer comes up, itll just send it back to 800 from what was left. relax, take a breath, no need to micromanage. \:D

It's just ... when I see the field full of crops I can't help imagining withered cabbage, rottening tomatoes, etc, etc. Foolish, huh? \:\? One of the many things I like about this game is it's graphically simple, thus makes me quite imaginative whenever I see the villagers doing something.
