Evening all! I am so addicted to this game. I cannot wait to finish it so I can buy VV2. If I buy it now I will be tempted to run them both at the same time and not for sure my laptop could take that.

Don't think I am doing to bad. I have all my techs except Fertilty 3, and have the point for it. I have a been playing for 143 hours, pop of 60, have had 2 sets of twins, only 9 island events, 6 deaths ages 72, 73, 74,76,79,79,: My current oldest villagers is 79

Anyway, I have had my builders digging for 2 1/2 hours now for that darn treasure chest. Just how long does it take? There are normaly 3-4 vilagers working at a time. Just how long does this take? I want to get on with the game, but don't want GC until the treasure is unburied

It will take awhile with only a few villagers working on it. I've never timed it, but certainly longer than a few hours.
