To the best of my knowledge there are no built-in cheat codes for this game. The only thing I can think of that is close to a "cheat" that people have used (search forum if you like) is "time warping" (changing your system clock) which is a form of cheating, but it is very much frowned upon. It is just not in the spirit of the game; it can destroy your village if you are not careful; it can have very unpredictable results; if something horrible happens you are on your own. However, one thing that is legal to do (and I do it) is "save" my games, so that if a parrot or a monkey or some other critter takes all my food or tech points and my village dies, I can restore my village to its previous glory.
