It was here last night and today its gone.

Did you shut your computer off while the game was running?

Did you delete your game by mistake? Or if I'm right, did you mess around with the Isola21 files in the VV2 folder?

No to both.

I looked at my options and they are back to where they started when I first got it. I know I had it on 2x speed. And its not there anymore. Something else happened but I dont know what.

Well whatever happened it happened again. I started a different game. Played it for awhile and got off the computer. I just tired to load it back up and its gone.
