how do u get rid of the algae

Puzzle 7 is the elimination of the algae in the ocean that was caused by over fishing. After purchasing Level 3 of Farming Tech, take a master farmer or master scientist to the pond, where they will collect algae-eating fish that they can use to repopulate the ocean. Once sufficient fish have been placed in the ocean, the algae will once again be under control and the villagers will have unrestricted fishing.

Sorry to bump this, but I got this problem VERY EARLY in the game, my points is like 2400 then. So I have no choice but to let all villagers research so I could get some coconuts. But now after getting to farming level 2, I realise I need 90k to the next level!!

Coconuts drains very quickly, so how to solve my problem?

If you haven't already done so, you need to start farming crops. To do that you need to solve one of the puzzles, which in turn needs a certain level of technology.

Thanks, finally got the dam/crop working. Had 7 villagers originally, but 5 died just to build the dam. Hope the remaining 2 survive..Dam!
