That is the best idea yet! The idea about fathers taking care of the kids is a good idea too, but it needs to be more along the same lines as it is now for it to feel right when you play. If the father initiates "going indoors," then he cares for the baby and vice versa. Also the whole "kids playing doctor with adults," is really creepy. It's above and beyond the whole toilet thing.

Make the game replayable!

Once I completed VV1 (still working on VV2), I completely lost interest since I knew everything.

Suggestion:
Put a much greater depth of hidden things. Exposing an area could give 1 of 3 possible results (or something like that) randomly. That way, I can play again, and get different results!

I like the kids running around. Its annoying fun and I want them to do other things, like hide and seek, build their own toys, throw things and have a parent run after them. School is not really necessary - they are on an island after all and lost...

Roast the parrots! Those buggers cost me over 700 in tech points. Im thinking a good meal could be had by all!!!

My docs and my builders are bored!!!Maybe have a medical research table near the hospital for up and coming docs - I have one tribe with about 20 of them. I keep them dressed in white to indentiy the lazy buggers. Oh and can my docs not all jump on the same patient when theres about twenty others laying down and dying???

Boats, surfboards, climbing, and how about a ball to kick around?

AND a real use for the tech points besides the fashion??? could be for those toys, boats, surfboards....etc

Introduce more vegetation with exploring goups on the island and real celebrations with a seperate table put out with food and drinks and special occasion outfits.

Not asking for much, just everything I need and more...lol

also....how about that shark idea???? hmmm??? lol

Sounds good to me. Although them going to school and trying to keep them in their desks and the adults learning would be fun...lol

I agree with everyone here, mothers should get more tech points for parenting. It seems to me that males can get loads and loads of points for just simply "going indoors", whilst females spend two years carrying babies around - can't even buy a new dress for goodness sake - and get little or no recognition for their efforts.

Also, on a separate point, would it be possible to trade tech points for food - and vice versa? Just a thought ... something you do in Westward and it works rather well.

Thoroughly enjoying VVII, but nearing the end of my latest visit to Isola!

I like most of the sugestion thas was mad in the previous pages.
Some of them the same as mine like rain, Weather causing damage to the huts and research for the healers, mayby some king of pharmacy were they could mix medications for the villagers
(could be an other tech level) I would also like to see more tools being build by the scientist or the builders for different use like farming or hunting.

Could you also possibly build a place to put the totems of make them smaler so we don't get to clutter with them.

... oh, and also, it would be nice if people could build up "domestic" points, like for making stews and "doing laundry"

How about the option to let two villagers marry? There could be some benefits, like maybe shorter nursing time (because the dad is helping out more) and some disadvantages if you decide to divorce the couple, like losing all the parenting skill or something.

Again, it can be completely optional so that people who like having the villagers handle mating on their own (ie, embracing their own parents or producing potato-head children all the time) can do so.

Hi Andulamb,
A comment on your master parenting techniques. Instead of always picking a male to drop on the female, try reversing the roles. Let your females instigate the breeding opportunity. If you watch you will notice that the villager who makes the first move gets the boost in skills. But I also agree that nursing moms should be able to participate in some activities. Maybe they could join in on the mushroom or egg collecting; or get an equal boost for breeding. After all, making babies is hard work for a mom, both before and after birth.

A stew for increasing intelligence (more dedicated workers)
A stew that will increase your life for lets say 2 years.

Workers that are sewers (makes the new clothes) but also cooks (makes the stews) perhaps another duty as well but can become masters in this group.

Builders and Doctors are a bit to hard to gain Master status. I love a challange but this one takes way to many years to gain the status on.

I would love to see the children gather mushrooms and collectables on their own once trained.

I believe 2 years for a Mother not to work is to long, perhaps shorten it or allow them to be able to do some type of light work.

The weather changes is an awesome idea! And so is having the children INSIDE a building, coming out to play some and collect mushrooms as well as collectables.
