serendipity asked me to change the format of Esteemed Elder's island events file. Several people seem to have trouble with .pdf files.

omg thank you borg...i wish i knew what i was doing wrong as to not be able to see the pdf files...i just updated acrobat tonight and have reader 8 and still can't so unless i am doing wrong i have no idea....you are the best!!!!

If you just click on the link in the post, it will try to use the Acrobat Reader plug-in for your browser, not the standalone program that you installed. If your browser hasn't been configured with the Adobe Reader plug-in, it won't display. If you right-click on the link and actually download it to your computer, you'll be able to view it in the Acrobat Reader application.

Yes, I had that yesterday for the first time! Since I had 90 villagers at the time I had to go into emergency mode and dump almost everyone into the sea to get them fishing and rescue the food stocks. I had a busy few minutes before the food bin started to fill up again!

Can this be stickied or maybe just moved to the Guides area? I knew I'd seen this, but couldn't remember where and the guides area was where I looked first, then in the forum and couldn't find it. It was only after I remembered that it had the little papper clip that I was able to find it.

i am glad it is helping those with pdf problems. i would just like to reiterate that the original work was done by "Esteemed Elder" who spent countless hours making this list (unlike me, who spent easily counted seconds converting it to an image file).
