hello! i'm new here and i need help
i start to play a few days ago and now i have an algae in the ocean, what should i do?

That's one of the puzzles in the game. You could read one of the many threads that discusses the algae, or you could go straight to the puzzle solutions in the Guide Section.

Orf, try doing it over and over again not everything happens the first time, persistance pays.

it supposed to be an immediate solution or what?

to get the puzzle solved and remove the algea you need to get the algea eating fish from the pond to the ocean. it will take more then one, about 10 or so depending on what game speed your running at, just keep picking up your villagers after they drop the fish in the ocean, and put them back in the pond till you get the messages saying you solved the puzzle. once you get that, you will not need anymore of the algea eating fish.

it's a yellow fish?

yes its a yellow fish, hows the progress orf, were you able to get it all done?

I spotted what MIGHT be the yellow fish in question, (hidden within the algae) and I clicked on that over andiveragain, all of the algae area, and they disappeared, only to return! I have clicked and clicked away at the algae but it just keeps coming back. Is there some kind of secret to this??? Julie

Julie -- not sure what you are seeing, but you can't actually see the algae-clearing fish unless a villager has one. Terina's post near the top of the thread will give you the solution -- I can say you are not looking in the right place, if that helps

My post on page 1 of this thread tells you everything you need to know about the algea, except that you need tech farming 3, to see my spoiler in the post highlight the message.

but as for any kind of fish in the ocean. i have never seen any other then what the villagers bring out after they catch them, there is nothing in the ocean for you to click on.

Well, I have put ALL of my Villagers in the pond,overandover,and made them stay in there,even had them go from the pond to the research table, but they never find any yellow fish! How to get them to find those fish?? Thanks! Julie

You have to have the right level of technology and use villagers with the right skills. You can always check the Guide, which has detailed solutions.
