I've seen a number of wierd, unexpected, undocumented things reported and called "glitches". Can someone tell me when a "glitch" becomes either an intermittent problem (as in a hardware malfunction caused by maybe a poor connection) or a software _bug_, which is an error and often called an "undocumented feature"? What is the difference, if any?

Jer

I'm sorry, were the voices in my head bothering you?

there are many times that a child cannot pick up their collection item...I have tried multiple children in multiple positions around the item until it eventually disappears...This is very agravating since its almost always an item I need!

[censored] that there is a cap on elders...whats the point after 50!

The difference between a _bug_ and a glitch is that glitches are usually bound to happen in a game. And a _bug_, is just something that happens every now and then. \:\)

A glitch can be a number of things. For example, if consistant it could indicate a problem with the computer system, or an error in programming in the software. If it happens only once or twice, and there doesn't seem to be a pattern anywhere, then it's just a "something that happened" type event. Mostly glitches can be quirky, funny, annoying, or down right silly.

When trying to collect items, try moving the child around the item until he or she says: "S/He is looking excitedly at everything" then drop them. In the case of mushrooms, wait until they say: "S/he sees a mushroom," then drop them. As for the elders at 50, try upping one of your techs, that should give you a hand.

Blessed be you.
Katherine.
