I am so upset. How in the world has everyone been getting so many elders and elderesses? You all have 50.
I have been working my Tale End off & all I have is 27.
I have everything,All the collectbles all my Tech points.
And I am having the hardest time getting more elders.
They have 2 mastered and just about the 3rd when they are too old and die off.
And I have been very patient and I stay with them. I have had the game since the 17th of Feb.
So what am I doing wrong?

A good thing I do is grab a villager who has mastered 2 skills, and drop them on the gong (after it's complete and it's sparkling). And then hope for the gong to grant wisdom.

I put all the over 50's (who were masters in two other skills)on parenting... and now I have 50 totems and a very big queue at the love hut ... and if they cannot find a partner , get them teaching the kids!!!

to get them to master parenting quickly, put them together and as soon as it says "...improved at parenting" pick them up and do it again. It takes so long to get to the shack that I find this expedites the process.

Unless you have maxed your population, then you get that annoying popup that there isn't enough housing every time you do that. I usually just throw them together and log out of the game, they're usually at least adept by morning, if not masters.

I'm anxiously awaiting the update, I can't be on the game as much as I could in the beginning. I've had most of my (otherwise skill-less) doctors die at mid-adept level. Out of 20 doctors who had no other skills besides healing that I started at age 14, only 2 became masters before they died. I'm totally discouraged with this game, for now.

I kept feeding "special" stews to my villagers to get master doctors.....
I just check off the parenting and throw them togeather until they are at least "trainee" status then I let them go. I usually have master parents by the end of day 2.
