how do you ring the gong?I finished all the puzzles.and aint sure how to make the totems work or how to bang gong help please.

To bang the gong, you need to crop a villager on the gong.

Not sure what you mean by *make the totems work* they kinda dont do anything, their just an icon for the villager who earned the elder status. and charley is right, you just drop a villager on the gong when its all sparkly, and ready to go and leave that person highlighted, and see what the message says at the bottom of the screen.
