I just started a new tribe. I had everyone fishing and went to check on my other game. I came back and got the love poem event. I chose the poet option.

NOW my only girl has a baby. I didn't do that!!

Anyone else had this happen?

Yes, that's one of the expected outcomes of that event. \:D You can always take kids mushroom hunting to make up for the loss of her farming abilities while she nurses the baby. \:\)
