583 food, 1180 tech, 4 researchers and 2 farmers, and 2 children, 1 is going to farm, the other researcher. Is this good enough to have my villagers survive til i get lvl.2 engineering? I have lvl.2 farming by the way and right now im living off coconuts. PLEASE REPLY!

it depends on several things

how many coconuts are left is first and foremost

and how good are you at collecting mushrooms (and collectables)with your kids?

Are you worried about them living overnight? Or overnight and all day tomorrow? If so, you can pause the game until you have time to play again. Or you can put it on 1/2 time until morning, check on them then either leave them on 1/2 time or pause till you get home from work/school. That's not a lot of food for eight mouths, but they don't die instantly the moment the food runs out, either. Make sure you have a fire going and well stocked also. Otherwise they may get sick. I have about 1000 or so coconuts left the last time i checked. And i now have around 2000ish tech. I'm thinking of making da dam after i get engineering lvl.2. Then, I'll have a farm til i can get lvl.3 farming for da algae...I also have about 29 hours left on my fire? Please reply.

I'd think you would be OK -- if you got L2 Engineering and started the dam right away...and put all your villagers except one farmer on that task.

You might be better off pausing overnight and watching them finish it -- if it's a bit dull watching the game, let it run on a faster speed (you seem to be on 1/2 speed right now, based on your fire timer).
