You can't choose the clothes in v.97. That is a beta version from before the game was finished. There are some major bugs in that version, as well.

Version .97 i do believe was a beta version that was pirated and cracked. You will need to upgrade to a new version to have the full game with all features and up to date _bug_ fixes.
