Hello everyone! In my village today it was the day where everyone puts flowers on the graves of the dead. Well, everyone went to put flowers on the graves of the dead, then I made somebody bang the gong... They all came running to 'admire the ancient gong encasement' and one lady was carrying a bunch of flowers. (By the way, my population was at the maximum at this point) The lady who was carrying the flowers walked away and the flowers turned into a baby! The population didn't go up though.
I'm just going to check if she still has the baby!

it is funny to see, do you remember the event that went along with the gong, could have been why, or it so happens that she had the baby b4, that quite often happens with my games, when i first turn them on and maybe that villager is sick or is part of an event, then when that villager is done the baby shows back up, if your sure the pop was maxed, then she probably had the baby and was just doing as the event said, but it is still funny i know

Well, the gong granted luck, I don't know if that might have an effect on it!!! By the way, today someone banged the gong and it said 'the gong grants youth'. Any ideas for what this might mean?

its exactly what it says, takes a couple years off of the person who you chose to bang the gong. at least thats what it did on mine, nothing drastic its only a year or two lol but could make the difference if your trying to make them elder.

well, my gong-ringing today turned my 60-yr-old almost Elder into a 4 yr-old with max points (but "apprentice" status) in 2 fields. quite a bit more than "a year or two!" : ) not that I'm complaining - now she'll make Elder (or the equivalent; I'm maxed on totems) well before she dies. : )
