the windows daylight savings time patches simply tell your computer "when" to switch the time back or forward an hour, they dont actually make any time changes. I updated 6 computers with the DST update yesterday on our network on windows 2000 machines and this is all it did. Was change the date of change from the first sunday in april to the second sunday in march and from the fourth suinday in october to the first sunday in november.
The only place this MIGHT have messed something up is you have to change your time zone, hit apply, then change it back to make the changes take affect. But this is only on Windows 2000, the DST update for XP comes in on automatic updates and most everyone should have had it by now. And others would be experiencing the same problem were it that, since its a worldwide patch.
