ok i' ve been trying to make my population bigger but my villagers arent making babies i've been trying for around 20 mins already still no babies can anyone help me? thanks

If one particular couple isn't working, if there's another guy available, try it with him. If your population isn't maxed, they should eventually get the hint and make a baby.

I've learnt that the easiest way to make babies is to pick up a villager n just kiss n kiss with another villager till she gets pregnant. Also, make sure the female villager is not 50 or more years old

When you want a child:

Mate only those over 18, women who are under 50 and neither of them are sick.

Watch the Population indicator. It will increase IMMEDIATELY when a coupling results in a child. No need to wait for them to go inside to see if it "took". In that way you can drag one to the other over and over and over until you get a kid. While it may be true that some couples are more compatible, I've never failed to get a child from any combination of "eligible" villagers, unless the food supply is very low or the housing is inadequate.
