The best thing to do is to submit a Support Form, and explain that you have an Intel Mac and are experiencing crashes on Virtual Villagers: The Lost Children. We are working on a Universal Binary version of the game, but it's not yet fully tested or ready to be released. It has solved the crash problem for at least one test user, and we will try to make it available prior to its general release to people who are experiencing these crashes.
