How can a master farmer be so dumb as to keep watering the garden when there is no more available food to eat? One would think that they'd know they need to do some fishing or palm tree shimmying.
Is there something that I'm missing here?

This is a known problem and will be fixed in an upcoming patch.

In the mean time try planting some seeds and never water them and see what happeneds

OK, I a will confess, I live on a farm. It seems kinda funny to me that the farmers are watering an irrigated patch! Those crops should be flooded!

Yeah, maybe the "watering the crops" could be changed to "tending the crops" or "weeding the crops", "thinning the crops" or "spraying the crops with DDT"
