I've heard villagers have age limits on when they can breed- 50 seems to be the one. So what happens when you have a village of 51-60 year olds and a 5 year old who will never grow up? Has this happened to anyone else?

You posted this in the thread for VV A new home, so im assuming you have the first one, and in that one there is no age limit for women to have babies, thats a new feature for the second one, VV the lost chilren, so you can make them have babies up will you think they are too old, and the 5 year old, im assuming you mean the golden child, and yes he stays 5 forever, he never grows up, so he will never have children.

If you posted in the wrong section and your talking about VV the lost children, then your villagers are too old, but if your child is a female, she can still breed with a male when she turns 19, any male, the age limit only applies to the woman (shame) LOL, hope this helps you.

No, its the first one. Thats weird though, because none of my villagers will breed, even though- as you say- there is no age limit. hmm...

How many villagers do you have in your game?

If you havent gotten all your huts built yet you will not be able to have more then the limit, I do believe if memory serves right the first hut allows you 25 and then they will start building the second hut, but only if you have a builder, and at 50 they will start the third hut, If im wrong somone please say, but im pretty sure thats the ammounts. Once you have all three built the limit is 100 if youve reached the limit, not much you can do till somone dies, which sucks i know, but its the way it is, if you havent gotten 100 and you have all the huts, just keep trying, villagers can be stubborn.

Terina, I think you're confusing the two VV games. The population limit for VV1 is approximately 90, and the population levels for the huts are 7, 15, and 30.

I think mainly the number of people you begin with but also how quickly some parts of the game move along. If you are just getting started then, with my limited experience, I would recommend Easy. That let's you learn the basics. Then you can always start another one on Normal or Hard later. But that's just my opinion. Good luck and have fun!!!!
