I just wondered if anyone else was making the same mistake I have been. I keep trying to get my female healers to master doctors and I end up getting them pregnant instead...lol. That's not the kind of "healing" I was hoping for. Maybe I'll stick with male docs

Well what skill do you checked on that villager?
You need to check Healing skill if you want them to heal or Parenting if you want them to parent e.g.

I have them checked to be a healer, but I keep dragging them onto the wrong villager. I tend to get excited and forget small details like reading the detail screen. lol

Maybe that "Sick" villager is not really sick just weakened Healer only remove "Sick" status

Lol, Bugs I've had this happen before...just make sure they're sick before you try to heal, and when you hear a sneeze after the healing has started, you're done. It's a little annoying when you're in the beginning, delicate stages of the game, but they can't help it....it is a beautiful tropical island after all! Lol
