They will still bury the dead if you drop them on the body. I've only tested this with a master farmer though, my whole tribe died except her and two kids ... oops.

The kids are annoying with the collectibles sometimes. You have to get the drop just right. Other times you can miss by a mile and they still get it lol. It's only while one disappears while I was repositioning that I get really annoyed though. One of my kids is also an anti runner which means he moves like a snail and somehow he's always the one closest to a collectible when I spot it. Waiting for him to crawl back to the hut, especially when it's a new item I want to see ... Argh!
