I am SO bummed!!! I have solved all the puzzles. I have maxed out on totems!!!! I AM REALLY BUMED ABOUT THAT! That really kept me going...to be able to train them and then see a totem appear!!! I know that there are others that go ahead and train them and dress them a certain way to denote that they are elders, but it just does not have the same effect for me. Then I still need 4 collectibles. I have been playing for DAYS and have not had a new one!!! I am really bummed!!! It seems there is nothing left to do. I cannot seem to MAKE the collectilbes appear...I search all the time...to no avail. I really think they made the collectibles thing too hard and I REALLY wish they had allowed unlimited totems!! I know that it would get too crowded, but it was still an incentive to play while I am waiting for those darn collectibles to magically appear!!!

I am right there with you - and so discouraged I could cry. all but one of my original Elders are now dead, I'm maxed out on totems, I've solved all the puzzles, keeping my population at 105, and I **still** haven't even seen the last beetle - and it's been almost 2 weeks now.

OH MAN!!! Now I am really discouraged!!! I am in the same boat...except my population has been maxed out at 100 ( still need 2 butterflys and 2 stones) and I have not been waiting as long as you have, it has been about 5 days with no new collectibles!!! UGH!!!! I started 2 new villages and only "check" in on my old village occasionally now....I will probably NEVER find the remaining collectibles like that. I wish there was something we could do to make them appear!!! I HATE THIS!!!! Sorry...just had to vent...

Cool down, everybody. This is the way it is. I know... I've been there too, crying out loud in frustration. And for nothing. The collectables are truly the most random things I have ever seen. I'm still short of one pebble in my first tribe and I have been playing for weeks. The second tribe I started, began with one of the ***** butterflies I've been having nightmares about in my first tribe! I guess they want to test our strength of endurance in VV2...

I guess my "strength of endurance" is not very good. I get to test it enough in my "real" job....not wanting to go there with this game...:) It just makes me want to give up and go on.

I only need one shell and two beetles to get all the collectibles. Just make sure you have a few kids around all the time or when what you want finally DOES appear you won't have anyone to pick it up - which happened to someone in another thread.

well, at least my patience has been rewarded in *one* way: I just got my 2nd set of triplets.

I've been keeping plenty of kids around...I always max out my population when one dies....that is the only thing I have going for me, since I have done everything else...:(

I don't know if this will help or frustrate you more, but maybe you're wanting the collectibles too badly. I was only picking up the collectibles to increase my tech points, and in 2 consecutive games, got the full collection, one just before farming 3 and one just after. Maybe if you relax a little about it... Good luck!

Yes...that is what is frustrating...I am for all intents and purposes "finished" with the game. I have maxed out all tech, all totems, all puzzles, just waiting for collectibles!!! UGH!!!
