I need to know how I can get food when my water is populated with algae and I don't have enough to buy the last farming Tech. And when my coconut trees barley have any coconuts on them is there still a way I can get food? My people are building the Dam right now to. But I need help! Is there a way to get any food or points to buy the last farming tech?

You'll have more food available shortly after the dam is finished. Hold a villager over that funny-looking area in the sand near the dam construction and read the message that appears at the bottom of the screen. In the meantime, if you have any children, take them to pick up the mushrooms that appear around the village.
