Doesn't mean we can't make suggestions, Tracy. We made a number of them for VV2.

I think it would be nice to make snares to catch those darn birds. A little roast parrot....

I've thought of an idea!!

"Villager Tranfer" could be an option in VV3.

If someone starts off with a couple of tribes in different games, then the player can swap certain villagers to solve certain puzzles.

i.e: Swapping Master Builders to solve a certain puzzle in VV2 LOL!!

ALternatively, Villager Swapping can be ideal for players who like "Selective Breeding".

Don't laugh at me.... I'm only abit frustrated with my Master Builders that's all

But It COULD be an idea!

I posted this idea in another thread, but that thread seems to have got lost somewhere.

Anyways, my idea would be after a hut is built it slowly deteriorates. My reasoning behind this is that once all items are built there is nothing left for the builders to do and no way to make master builders.

I had this one villager, who was one of my favorites since she was a runner, who mastered farming and research and was trying to master building. She never made it past adept before passing away as I hadn't realized that I had everything built for that level and was no where near making it to the next.

Just a simple request -- I would like to see a Village Identification somewhere on the screen for those of us who play multiple games at one time.

I have thought of Isola by night for VV3 since it's a bit too late to add that in for VV2. Others have input some interesting ideas for it.

What about effects like day and night? It's bright when the sun is shining but kinda dark and light when the moon is out.

Maybe they could have artist villagers. Once their farming, engineering, medical get high enough, people could decide to put tech points into "Artistic" and they could have people who make musical instruments, people who make jewelry, people who paint or work with clay to make sculptures. And the kids could play at the different types of art. Just a suggestion, but it'd probably be too hard to create that sort of thing in a game.

Jami, that was truly a wonderful, exciting story! I hope LDW pays attention to your ideas.

Ok I’m sitting here playing through the game and was thinking of some things for VV3.

First, I’d like to see a few more choices on the overall “culture” of your tribe. For example the way you treat your dead.
1-Burial – The traditional Isola way. Benefit is that there is always a way to pay respect to the villagers before you. Downside is less space to say build?
2-Sent to Sea – Where your villagers would place the deceased on a raft and send them to Sea. Benefit would be that perhaps if you choose this path there might be room for another hut or special building that you can only get by making this choice for your tribe. Downside being that perhaps these burials could trigger an island event like the contamination of the fish for a short time after sea burials. Thus limiting your ability to collect food for a short time.
3-Burning the corpse – Benefit same as above for burial at sea. Downside could be maybe some problems in the air that might make villagers sick. Not always but occasionally. I’m not talking just sick but take something like half their life bar away.

Kids, first let me say I really like the collectables for the kids. However how about allowing them to be “trained” in collecting. Say if a kid picks up 20-30 of an object they will seek them in their vicinity. They won’t actively go looking for them but if one pops up within a short distance of where they are they will pick it up?

Collectibles, I really like these and wish that it would be expanded. Perhaps with some of the collectibles only showing very, very rarely. However along with that I’d also like to see a more varied reward than the boost to the population limit. Perhaps something like if you find a collection it might have the possibility of making all current nursing babies into runners, or give them a skill or something.

Island Event extremes. In the island events make some of them extremely bad and some extremely good. Most are kind of middle of the road things. I’m talking have the possibility of something like a typhoon that may come through and destroy your huts, crops and perhaps kill off some villagers. The flip side is an event or events that will grant you a tech level or 100,000 tech points or something. These shouldn’t happen all the time but there should be a real possibility that 1 could occur during any game. Perhaps these events could alter the end game because of the possibility that they will set you back. Ohh another one could be “the fever” that could take a whole generation of the island youth. However perhaps a master doctor could limit the number that would succumb to the disease.

Anyway these are just a couple of thoughts. I like some of the others posted as well.

Bill
