No runners for me in V V 2 - but 1 guy with no idea what his name is. That was hilarious!!

Me neither...have had one who hates running, but none who love to run. Surprisingly my slow villager who I appropriately named Slowy ended up being an esteemed elder by researching, parenting, and farming. LOL She was 60 before she got her totem though

I had 3 female runners in my second village and loved it! I just wish there had been a male runner too since "going inside" with a runner must be very unsatisfying. She's back at work by the time he gets to the hut! LOL! It would be great if you could breed for runners.

I have a runner (Amina)who was already on the island when my 2 adults Tafu (m) & Papa (f) fell down the waterfall. She was 6yo when they arrived she was excellent at getting mushrooms & collectables back in time. I let her go around studying herbs at 14 for a short time so she's a trainee doctor at moment. I then put her on farming for a while to build up food, then put her on building to help clear thorns & rebuild the little love shack. Now she's doing a bit of research. I've only had 2 babies 1 girl who was also named Amina, so replaced M for T & N for P (parents initials now she is Atipa) & 1 boy Nonolo(both non runners)from same parents Papa & Top (he was a 17 when she arrived) so she waited for him to come of age. Waiting for Amina to come of age to see if anything happens between her & Nofo (master scientist) fingers crossed.

I've had 1 'Runner' Mum churning out babies like a factory with 2 other 'Runner' Dads and she never produced ANY Runner Babies! I'm so miffed now because she's plopped her last baby at 50 Oh well.....

unfortunately, you can't spawn runners from other runners automatically, but once in a while, it does hppen!

Do the child runners run faster than the other children? I've got one right now who is a jumper but she doesn't move any faster than the others. I would hate to have a slooow one; that would drive me crazy!

I don't know... I have a meathead kid who is a runner, and he never stops! I can't even catch him to get a mushroom.

My original villager Amina who was only a small child when my 2 adults fell down the waterfall was my runner. She became an Esteemed Elder before she died, she never had any children runners BUT her daughter has had a runner who just happens to be a girl also. "Amina would be proud" Her grandaughter following in her footsteps. Just noticed i have another runner & guess what....It's Amina's Grandson this time...go there Amina!!!!

I think so, but the effect isn't as noticeable as with building or farming. They will run when moving about the table or popping into the science hut for materials to experiment on, so they'll spend less time between science tasks. Also, even when they goof off to eat or drink or even to cool their feet, etc, they spend less time away.

Yeah. 1 runner is enough. This reminds me when on one of my VV2 games had 3 (yes, you read it righ) runners. And then, a mother had twins. Guess what, they were runners!! So I alltogether had 5!!!!! And even better, I had a villager that would do ANY work such as healing without brute force and easily conquered healing when he was a Trainnee doc.
