Is there a reason my master scientist went back to adept when I started him building?

Did you get an event that lost wisdom? Are you positive he was a master? I have never had this happen to me, so I'm not sure what else could have happened.

Do you mean that when you switched your master scientist's preference from science to building, and later back to science, he went from master scientist to adept scientist?

If he went from master scientist to adept builder when you switched preference from science to building, that is normal. Just switch his preference back to science and he should be a master scientist still.

When he was a master scientist and I changed him to become a builder, after awhile of building I changed him back to scientist and he lost his master status and became an adept scientist. Its all good, when I turned the game off and came back to it I could put him back to scientist and his rank was again master. Must have just been a glitch. Thank you all for you help! Diane

That happened to me too. I had a master builder then I changed him to farmer for a while and I think I had him up to adept farmer. When I changed him back to builder to help with a project he was an adept builder again. Took almost 1/2 a day to get him back to master.
