Hi, I am Channie, been playing a couple days now and I have a question. After building the dam, I started finding pebbles. I have found the same pebble twice, (the one that looks like a ruff diamond maybe?), It is a common one, but anyway, I have found it twice, watched the child carry it to the hut do the little dance and all. Problem is, it isn't showing up in my list of collectables. I have also found 3 other pebbles, all of those showed up, all the other collectable I have are there as well. Anyone else have this or does anyone have any suggestions?

the collectables that you find that are the same add tech points once you have found them once. so keep collecting the same items it only adds to your tech points.

I know about the tech point, but that one pebble won't show up on the page that shoes the items as you find them the first time. I am just wondering if it is a glitch and it is there but invisible for me or if it is a glitch and I am not getting new item credit for it.

What message do you see in the kid's action line?

If it is being treated as a new collectible it will say something like "Collecting a new item!', if it is a duplicate it will say 'Collecting an item for the scientists'. I don't have the game on this PC and I'm relying on memory, so the wording may be slightly different. You should also see the tech points tick over by 100 points when the kid enters the hut. If the pebble definitely does not show in your collectibles screen after the kid has delivered it to the hut it does sound like a glitch, although I've never seen anything like this reported before.

I can't remember what it said, I believe it was the new item one, but I wasn't thinking that much about it at the time to really remember it you know. I also haven't found anything new since this happened, just lots of repeats, so I am not sure if it is just this stone or from here on out. I will pay attention when I get this one again and see what it says. I hope it doesn't say the new thing again, UGH.

The white one showed up again, it said it was a new item when she carried it to the hut. It is showing up on my collection page now though. Not sure what happened but at least it isn't permanent, lol.

Are you sure the earlier ones weren't a similar pebble? There's an uncommon one that looks rather like it although the colour is a pale pink rather than white.

Yeah it was the same one, I don't have the pink one yet. I looked at the screen shot that was posted of all the collectables to make sure before I posted my original post. I only have 5 pebbles so far, the entire top row, the green from the second row and the purple from the bottom.

I just got the pink one and it is on my collection page as well, so if one of the forst two tries happened to be pink and not white then either way we are good now, lol.

did you attempt to pick up another item before the kid had made it all the way to the hut?

that will make the original one disappear
