I'm guessing the answer is probably a resounding YES!!!

But I thought I'd share this anyway

Since reaching my current max population I am concentrating on getting totems, I had more tech points than you could shake a stick at and I was fed up of my villagers going 'off the job' So I decided that depending on their current skill I would dress them all alike so that I know where to drag them to without much thought,and I can see at a glance that they are where they should be. I'm a hard task master! (and fortunately I get all of my frustration out in this game so my staff at work don't have to suffer too much - if only I could drag them to the task they should be doing instead of chatting at the coffee machine hmmmm ) I also gave them all an initial after their name to show me easily how far away they were from mastering the skill. (this changes as they move skills or become Elders)

I also have a tick list for the stews and I have the ones who I know are never going to amount to much working on new stews.

That's pretty sad huh?

I do the same with the clothes, when a villager is close to becoming an elder they get new clothes too so i can concentrate on them more.

3 of us are sad then, cos I do the same, I also talk to them. ie. get back to researching, or what are you doing playing in the pond, get back to farming. etc. etc.;)

I also do that with the clothes. The first clothes I replace are the ones with the doctors. Since it seems to be very difficult to get them to the Master doctor stage. I pick the ones who are close in two other areas dress them in white and force them to stay in front of the flowers.

Since I don't have the patience to redress everybody (takes all the patience I have to keep everybody in line, heh), I figured I'd just give new clothes to my Elders. They were almost exlusively female villagers by that point, so I thought a pretty new dress was a good reward!

And I talk to my villagers alllll the time.

I also dress my villagers according to skill and job. It gives the village a kind of OCD look too!

I feel soooooo much better

I do the same. I dress all my Elders in white, my doctors in black robes, my farmers in green and my builders in all blue. I talk to my villagers too (usually not very nicely most of the time because they insist on going off and doing what THEY want to do and not what I want them to do).

I really think I should get a life but, since I lost my job last year and am finding it very difficult at my age (56) to get another one, this is what's keeping me going at the moment.

I guess after I get level 3 in exploration then I can use the tech points for dressing them. but at 5000 a pop, it gets expensive.
what do you get when you get level 3 exploration?
am I allowed to ask that?
