Who's bright idea was it to put the food bin right next to the field. Once you get the field, it is like the trees and the ocean no longer exist. All I keep seeing is "Watering the fields" and if you don't stay on top of them, just about everyone will only do that, water the stupid fields over and over to the detriment of everything else.

Everyone is worried about food and there is food in the trees and in the water and THEY JUST WONT HARVEST IT unless you drag their sorry behinds on top of it.

What the heck gives with that? Can we have an update to move the food bin someplace else PLEASE!!!

We are working on an update to the game, which will be released when it is ready. It won't move the food bin, but it will make the farmers smarter about what they choose to do. In the meantime, you could try quitting the game whenever the farm is empty, and the farmer won't spend their time watering.

Hmm, I have just the opposite problem. Everyone spends their time watering the fields, but as soon as the crops are ready for harvest they go after the coconut trees instead! Even though the coconuts have about 6 left... I'll look forward to that update.

That is the same thing that happens to me. Now that the algea is gone though, they do plenty of fishing.

Yes I can't get them to pay attention to anything but the coconuts either. Drives me nuts. There is 600 food in the field and 10 coconuts on the trees but left to their own devices they go for the coconuts every time.

You have to keep dragging them all to the ocean for about five minutes or so and then they eventually get the idea.
